One user argued that this kind of relationship was not a good foundation for romance because of the imbalance of power between the two parties.

“There’s a big difference between someone being nice to you because they’re interested in you and being nice to you because you have control over their job,” another person said.

A third voice chimed in, “Y’all we know it’s ‘legally’ allowed, but this power dynamic seems like the dude is just perceiving this feeling cause he’s a MANAGER.”
