and front passenger wheel, and other issues.
The vehicle “hit sidewalk areas,” according to the arrest report, before coming to a stop in an industrial part of downtown Las Vegas, not far from Main Street.
According to the report, the driver “was asleep behind the wheel with the driver’s door open, leaning back in the seat, with bloodshot, watery eyes and one shoe on and one shoe off.”
Lynch was arrested at 7:30 a.m. on a Tuesday, hours after the Seattle Seahawks, for whom he played the majority of his 12 NFL seasons, announced that he had been hired as a broadcast special correspondent.
Lynch’s professional career also includes stops with the Buffalo Bills and the Oakland Raiders.
The arrest report states that 36-year-old Lynch was uncooperative and dozed off several times while being questioned by police. The report stated that “jail officers used a restraint chair to force a blood draw” after a judge issued a warrant.
Lynch was initially held at the Las Vegas City Jail, but was later released pending a court date in Las Vegas Municipal Court on December 7.
Blood test results were not released right away. Driving with a BAC of 0.08 or higher is illegal in the state of Nevada.
In April, charges of failing to report or remain at the scene of an accident were dismissed after Lynch entered a no-contest plea to a misdemeanor vehicle parking charge and was fined $750, according to court records.
On Thursday, Lynch’s attorney, Schonfeld, declined to comment on the case.
Lynch “appreciates and is thankful for everyone’s concern and support,” his lawyers said in a statement.
Lynch was selected to the Pro Bowl five times between 2007 and 2019, amassing 10,413 career rushing yards and 85 rushing touchdowns. With the Seahawks, he took home the Lombardi Trophy in 2013.
