Sex Education has just announced Dan Levy will be joining the cast of the show, giving more seasons to an already-popular show

Dan Levy, star and creator of Schitt’s Creek will be joining season 4 of Sex Education as Maeve’s new teacher…so yes, Emma Mackey is officially returning to the show.

Aimee-Lou Wood (Aimee), Connor Swindells (Adam), Kedar Williams-Stirling (Jackson), Mimi Keene (Ruby), George Robinson (Isaac), Chinenye Ezeudu (Vivienne), Dua Saleh (Cal), Alistair Petrie (Mr. Groff), and Samantha Spiro (Samantha) are all returning for the new season (Mrs. Groff).

This will be Dan’s first starring role since the cancellation of Schitt’s Creek in 2020. He will play Thomas Molloy, Maeve’s tutor at her elite American university. Dan Levy and Emma Mackey together in an episode? It was meant to be. We are currently filming Season 4 of Sex Education, and Dan Levy has been cast in the recurring role of Mr. Molloy. 03:00 PM – 19 Aug 2022

Otis and Eric are reportedly attending their first day of school at Cavendish Sixth Form College after attending Moordale Secondary, which was closed by Netflix. Otis is understandably anxious about opening his new clinic, and Eric is simply hoping they won’t be looked down upon as “losers” by their peers.

Others in the Moordale community may also find the transition to this new school to be somewhat daunting. They’ve always considered themselves progressive, but this new university is a step above. According to Netflix’s official season logline, “There is daily yoga in the communal garden, a strong sustainability vibe, and a group of kids who are popular for being…kind?”

Maeve’s new life in the United States consists of attending the illustrious Wallace University, where she is taught by the cult author Thomas Molloy, who has long been a personal hero of Maeve’s (Dan Levy). Otis pines after Maeve, but he’s also learning to deal with the fact that he’s no longer an only child or the only therapist at school.

Season 4 of Sex Education sounds like it’s going to be great, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens to our favorite characters. The release date has not been announced by Netflix, but filming will continue in the UK through the end of the year.
