The announcement of a talent search was incredibly popular among The Voice’s fans on social media

Singer Kelly Clarkson is getting the chance to shine right now and will be hosting a dance special on NBC.

In light of the fact that Kelly Clarkson will not be coaching on the upcoming season of The Voice (yes, we are still upset about it! ), her show has launched a nationwide search to find the former Voice coach a “Kellyoke” singing partner from across the country. Actually, yes!

From August 21st to September 7th, fans can catch Kelly’s classic hit “Since U Been Gone” on the Kellyoke Search Bus *we’re living for this name! * when it makes stops in New York City, Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles. If any hopefuls are unable to attend any of the above events, they need not lose hope; on August 21, they can upload their renditions to TikTok with the hashtag #KellyokeSearch. Honestly, they’ve considered everything.

“Hey, what’s up, United States? Is it something you’ve ever considered doing with me? That’s what I assumed. The 40-year-old American Idol winner said in a video posted to her Instagram on August 16th, “Well, your chance is finally here.” “This summer we’re taking The Kelly Clarkson Show on the road to find some of the greatest voices across America and virtually on TikTok using the hashtag #KellyokeSearch,” she continued. Her admirers flocked to the comments section to both gush over the casting call and nominate themselves and, in some cases, their loved ones.

One viewer said, “I think this is a brilliant idea for the show,” and then added the hand clapping emoji to express their approval. Someone else uttered a “Oh my gosh!! ” in shock. Another ecstatic supporter chimed in, “OMG I would die to sing with you I sing and love you so let’s do this.” “I would loooooove to!!!” said another. There certainly appears to be an abundance of interested parties; we can’t wait to hear the results.
